The Centre of Phytosanitary Excellence (COPE), under KEPHIS, conducted a five-day seed certification training from 4th to 8th November, 2024 to Agventure Limited’s seed officers at KEPHIS Nakuru.

The training enhanced participants' technical capacity in seed quality evaluation through both theoretical and practical sessions on sample reception, purity testing, germination, moisture analysis, and seed health assessments.

Guided by KEPHIS inspectors, trainees gained hands-on experience with advanced seed testing techniques. Certificates were awarded upon completion, equipping participants to implement robust seed certification processes.

COPE continues to empower agricultural stakeholders with tailored training solutions, fostering food security and compliance with international phytosanitary standards.
